We've been busy beavers around here. I mentioned the boys got a new mower for the tractor. Well, I have learned that it is much easier to mow 3 ft grass if you take out all the fencing. The boys have been pulling posts and rolling up fencing. Anyone who knows my husband, please know that he has everything organized in certain areas of the lean-tos. One has this kind of gate, one has these kinds of panels, this one is this size, etc. A junky looking farm we will not have!!
Also, as part of my Farmwife in Training program, my two boys (yes, BOTH of them) taught me how to drive the tractor. Their dad didn't have anything to do with the instruction/training. It was fun for them switching roles where THEY were the teachers.
Youngest son's finger is looking better. Still a nasty wound, but healing nicely. Hard to keep something clean on a farm, let alone keep a bandaid on.
