We had a freezing fog the other morning. Honey shot these after sunrise.
We are well here, staying warm. We're staying out of trouble. Last weekend the boys went with oldest's FFA group from school to cut Christmas trees for their fundraiser. They cut 60 trees. The boys cut ours as well while they were out there.
Schedules are very busy right now, having many evening filled with activities. The oldest 2 boys have been taking a class in town from the conservation district, learning about tree's, windbreaks, soils, gardens, fences. Their last class is coming up this week and they've gotten a lot of good information to help us here on the farm as we get acclimated and settled.
The boys have been busy filling in trenches, leveling the ground and trying to figure out how to pick up all the big rocks laying around after the project.
Later today we have a new toy coming, will post pics later. Its a "gift" from someone in town.
Hope you all are well. We have several friends going through some real struggles at the moment, please say a prayer for them. Keeping all of our friends and family in our thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful for you!
More good photos - glad the class paid off.
