Hoping for a successful week....

We're hoping to try for concrete this week. Temps are supposed to be in the 40s the next 3-4 days. We got the pecs pipe tied in. Honey wrapped the pipes. I was out until 1am last night/this morning helping honey finish up and tarp the foundation where the concrete will be. Honey crawled in bed about 2:15a. I hope this works out this week, but staying open minded. Would be nice for honey to have a warm/dry place to work in over the winter. Wish us luck!!

Youngest took a tumble on the ice on Friday afternoon. He thought his wrist/arm was broken (he has done this twice before. NY neighbor was here (THANK YOU!) during all of this and help us get youngest in and give him a good look over. No swelling, nothing looking out of place. Decided to watch. Yesterday morning (Sat) Youngest was complaining his wrist hurt. We made a road trip into town for an xray. Dr said there is something suspicious on the xray, but have to wait until Monday for the radiologist to review results. He is in a brace at the moment. I am grateful for health care!!

Former cat/kitty owners came by Friday afternoon, during all the other chaos, and vacinnated the cats (THANK YOU!!) So we have that done. Baby is still expecting, I looked up gestitation and thought it was 60 days. Thinking she should have delivered by now. Previous kitty owners said they judge the weather by the cats, being pregnant. They feel the pregnant cats hold the kitties until its warmer (how do you do that??) the thinks we will have an early spring. We'll see.... Our boys sure love the kitties. They have loved us being outside and have entertained us while we worked. Here's a few pics of Grace and Taylor; Katy and Jordan.
