FINALLY!!

YAHOO!!! Concrete has been poured!! After 4-5 really nice temp days, the concrete got poured today. Oldest pleaded to stay home today and help out, and honey gave in. We had 8 trucks of concrete. Special thanks to NY neighbors who picked up youngest from school, because I couldn't get away from work. Also to NY neighbor who ran over when honey yelled and helped build a frame to put the leftover concrete in. We may have to have another contest to name what we should do with the concrete slab next to the building!! I was thinking a half basket ball court!






Now we'll let it cure for a few weeks. Mr Bruce will head over after that and start construction. It'll be nice to watch someone else do the work for a change. Honey deserves a break! Bruce did offer to hire honey to work on the building though.....can't see him staying away from that, can you? He's Mr. Engineer, he'll want to analyze every step!
