All is well here. Our little kitty Katy caught some kind of an eye infection this past week, but that has cleared up dramatically, for which I am grateful. It was a busy week here (what else is new). Honey rented a backhoe on Thursday for a week.
He's prepping the ground for the concrete slab for the new building.

The soil here looks fairly white and its like concrete. Lots of rocks, so it'll be a challenge to dig up. After honey puts in the plumbing pvc for a sink and toilet, he'll finish packing the surface and dig the footings. It will be a busy week for him and I'm sure he'll be on it sun up to sun down. Do you ever feel like there isn't enough time in the day??
The building will sit across from the house. That is our big barn and animal shelters behind the site. If honey can finish, we've had an offer that the concrete can get poured next week. The building won't be started until the first of December I think.
