the tree planter...

Here's a peek at the machine. I believe this was a homemade contraption. There are 2 seats, with a blade that has an opening in the back where you insert the tree. We planted the first row every 6 feet and 4 feet the second row. Next year we will look at adding hardwoods and evergreens. Wonder how fast it will grow and wonder how many will be left after the deer get to them. Any suggestions for keeping deer at bay folks?
