Its amazing what this ground is made of out here. We have more rock, even when they were digging 6 feet down for the water line trench, huge rock. The builder to built our shop was out over the weekend and mentioned this ground is the perfect foundation for a building. Its certainly not going anywhere!
We are good, still dealing with dirt. They finished the trenches for the most part and have the hydrants in. We've gotten quite a bit of rain since they've started and the mud, dirt and rocks have found their way into the house. There are new trenches now. The electrician was out working today. They are going to consolidate the meters, run a line to the shop and run the overhead wires underground. We're getting the digging done while the digging's good. Rumor has it snow is in the forecast for the first of next week. We'll see. Definitely want to get any ground digging done before the ground freezes for the winter.
Honey and oldest worked till about 10:30p last night trying to get some of the post holes dug, to hold the new meter/box. The pics are of the new box now installed.
Looking forward to getting the trenches covered.
