There's been a lot of equipment moving around here lately- they're pulling out drinkers (buried in the ground to feed the livestock), moving piles of manure and picking rocks. We have LOTS of rocks on the farm. We'd make a lot of money if we sold them- pink ones, white, blueish and shaped ones. We found "OKLAHOMA" and "UTAH" in our rock pile. Wonder how many other states we can find!
Garden is going well. As places are clearancing herbs, I'm picking them up. Got chives, oregano and thyme recently. I tried seeds but had no luck. We're still on the beginning side of picking in the garden. Seasons are shorter here and we had a late start. We picked snap pea pods, a zucchini and a bunch of green beans this week. Starting to see a few tomatoes turn. The corn is tasseling and the potato plants are lush. Cucumbers are getting ready to bloom. Horses neighbor brought over a bag of raspberries last Friday and I made jam on Saturday.
We've got 20 lbs of cherries arriving the first of next week, so it'll be busy next week as well.
I hope you are doing well there. Drop us a line when you get a minute. Have a great rest of your week!
