ongoing project....

New pole and meter

Power going into the shop

Lines from the house to the shop

The yard is still filled with trenches! The water lines are finished, for the most part. New trenches have been dug for the electrical lines. The overhead lines were brought to one pole/meter and the remaining lines were put underground running from the pole to each of the buildings. The last trench was dug this past week. It will run a phone line to the shop from the house and one more power line to connect a switch in the house to an outlet in the shop. That way we don't have to draw straws on who gets to go turn off the Christmas lights on the shop in the cold and snow!! Many of the trenches are still open, most of the connections have been made to the main power box and I'm not sure who is most eager to have the trenches filled in, those who want to run the big equipment or the mom who is worried someone is going to slip and fall into the 3-6 ft trench!!! We have snow on the ground at the moment which is amplifying my fears. I should have more faith....

Things are going well here otherwise. There is never a dull moment, much like your house I'm sure. We're all looking forward to a few days of peace and quiet over the Thanksgiving break. We will be here remembering all of you whom God has truly blessed us with. Your love, friendship and laughter are priceless and we truly enjoy the time we spend with you. Grateful for all God has generously showered on us, hoping we may continue to share that with others as well.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving, good health and safe travels. Enjoy!!

ps...Do you ever wonder what your cats do when you aren't looking. JD and Grace are outside- one crawling up the inside of the screen, one crawling up the outside. Silly cats!!!
